Who We Are
We are the Wildlife Management Division based out of AZGFD headquarters in Phoenix.
What We Do
The Terrestrial Wildlife Program dedicated to management and conservation of game and nongame wildlife populations and their habitats to maintain the natural diversity of Arizona, and to provide equal wildlife-oriented recreation opportunities for all present and future generations.
Game management includes big and small game, fur-bearing and predatory animals, upland game and migratory game birds. Nongame wildlife includes all remaining wildlife, those species listed by the Department as Species of Greatest Conservation Need or by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service as endangered, threatened, or candidate species.
