Volunteers will work closely with Department staff to perform maintenance of the Whitewater Draw area including, but not limited to: removal of weeds, trash clean up, and maintenance.
Activities may include:
- Talk with visitors, answer basic questions (information provided by Wildlife Area Manager) about the area and Sandhill Cranes
- Make sure visitors are staying on trail
- Cleaning & resupplying restrooms
- Clean up & removal of trash
- Sweeping & mopping floors
- Landscaping, raking debris & gravel
- May have the ability to help with Wildlife Area projects based on interest and/or capabilities
