Join the Arizona Elk Society this summer to help build a 330 linear foot fence at Holloway Springs (35.12314, -112.08511). This important habitat improvement project will take place over two weekends (1 night stays, Fridays and Saturdays): August 28-29 and then September 11-12. When you register, be sure to note which days you are interested in attending. Registration is capped at 8 volunteers per weekend. AES will provide dinner on Friday, breakfast and lunch on Saturday.
No special skills are required - just a willingness to help and enjoy time outdoors. The Arizona Elk Society will provide meals for volunteers throughout the weekend.
Come lend a hand, meet like-minded conservationists, and help improve wildlife habitat in northern Arizona.
Since this is an AES project, please do not record your hours in the AZGFD volunteer portal - we are just helping spread the word!
