The Aquatic habitat program will be building and installing Georgia Cube structures over November and December. A Georgia Cube is a 4 foot by 4 foot PVC cube wrapped with 100 feet of 4 inch corrugated pipe. This imitates a root stump or down tree allowing numerous fish species to use the structure. Small forage fish will use the structure to hide from predatory fish species. Predatory sportfish will use the structure for an easy meal. Anglers are given the locations to the structures which allows them to hopefully have better angling success.
Volunteers will need to bring work gloves, water/snacks, and a cordless drill if you have one.
