The Arizona Game and Fish Department will be conducting a dove check station at Red Rock, AZ (see map below). The check station will be operated by 2-3 Department employees and volunteers from 7:30 AM to Noon on September 1, 2023. Set up is at 7:00. As hunters leave this hunt area we will ask them a few questions and inspect their doves to record species, age, hours hunted, and other harvest related information. This is a good opportunity to get out and gain hands-on experience collecting biological information, and hear from hunters why they love hunting dove!
