We are looking for a team of about 10-20 dedicated volunteers to serve as Lane Officials for five upcoming National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) tournaments. Lane Officials play a critical role in ensuring fair, accurate scoring and smooth tournament operations. Volunteers will receive training (about 30 minutes online plus a short on-site refresher) and will use a phone or tablet for scoring through the NASP app, so being comfortable with technology is helpful, everything can be done on your personal phone or tablet. This is a great opportunity to support Arizona students, contribute to the success of archery events, and make a real impact in youth outdoor education.
Why volunteer?
By serving as a Lane Official, you’ll help introduce students to a lifelong outdoor skill, support a program that builds confidence and discipline, and strengthen community engagement in archery. Volunteer time also counts as a valuable match that helps the Department fund future youth programs.
