On Wednesday June 12th at 8:30 in the morning, we will be constructing and installing Georgia Cubes and Mossback Safe Havens in to Show Low Lake. We plan on meeting at the Show Low Lake boat ramp at the campground. 5800 Show Low Lake Rd, Pinetop-Lakeside, AZ 85929.
Volunteers will be responsible for constructing the habitat and assisting with loading it onto our boat. The work will be fairly simple with a low energy demand. This activity will include the use of some power tools such as drills, so small children will likely not be able to participate in this event. However, we welcome teenagers all the way to seniors to come help out and see what we do. Volunteers should bring their own water, food, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, etc. Volunteers will want to wear closed toed shoes and clothes appropriate for June weather.
